At a meeting of the Haddenham & Long Crendon Local Area Forum (LAF) on Thursday 30th May 2012 the current arrangements of how to spend the local priorities budget were discussed. As people may be aware, the original idea was that this budget would be allocated via a participatory budgeting exercise within the communities of the LAF area.
At the LAF meeting of Thursday 30th May, it was decided by the LAF membership that the participatory budgeting element of the process will not take place. The decision on which projects will be funded will now be undertaken by the LAF membership at a special meeting on Tuesday 26th June 2012.
This decision does not affect the applications that have already been received, or any future applications still to be made under this programme. All applications will still be considered against the previously published priorities of the LAF.
If you wish to discuss this change further then it is suggested that you contact the Localities and Communities Manager at Bucks County Council, Mark Grindall, on 01296 387542 or mgrindall@buckscc.gov.uk
